One of the most cost-effective forms of
advertising on the Internet today is classified advertising. They might look
very simple, but need to have a great thought to get the perfect ads.
You can see that classified ads are
everywhere! You see them on all the e-zines, Facebook when you update your page
or visit your friend’s pages, search engines in the form of pay per click ads
like Google Ad Words. We even find them on blogs and forums.
The reason you see so many classified ads
in e-zines, on websites and other places is that:
They work and they are cheap and of course,
they are working for you.
Today I’m going to share the formula I use
for writing great classified ads with this you too can turn out profit-pulling
ads any time you like!
Writing classified ads is actually very easy
once you know how and if you want to add some power to your classified ads, follow
these few steps:
It is important to understand that there
are three parts to these tiny little ads, they are;
Headline:
Your headline should grab attention!
The purpose is to sell the ad. This means
the headline convinces the reader that you have something to say – that should make
them continue in reading the rest of the ad.
There are many ways in crafting a successful headline.
*
Start with an action word
*
Ask a question
*
Create curiosity
*
Make an alarming statement
Body:
The purpose is to set up the call to
action. The reason your ad will exists
is to get the click to the website you will be promoting. But before you ask
for the click, give reason to the reader why it is important for them to click
the ad and what is the benefit they will get by making that click?
First list all the features of your
product or service then, the benefits of those features. Write at least one
benefit for each feature, or avoid using that feature.
Call
to Action: The purpose is to sell the click. It
is important for you to understand that each part has only one purpose. When
you think of ads in this way it becomes easier to create them because you will
be using a “block building” approach.
Make your call to action simple to
understand and not tricky.
By following these simple steps you can
create a classified ad that works great.
